front page HTML

Im very new to this. Will front page let me edit and up-date exsisting web
pages and will it open wps file extinsions. This is some what confusing to
me.

It will let you edit and up-date existing web pages.

The WPS file extension could be a couple of different applications having to
do with Microsoft Works or some other possibilities. FP won't open those.
You'd need the appropriate application to open them.

Frontpage works with web pages - it opens files such as *.htm, *.html, *.js,
*.css, *.asp, *.aspx (and possibly a few others) etc - the files that make
up web pages.

*.wps is a MS Works file format and Frontpage is not a word processor
application.
