FrontPage 2000 and Miva Merchant

We developed our web site using FP2000 and a Miva shopping cart. However, to upgrade the Miva cart the extensions change from .mv to .mvc. Each and every link we have on our static web currently shows as .mv. If we upgrade the Miva cart we would need all the links (several hundred) to read .mvc. Is there any means to have this change implemented in a one shot deal? Our web host has indicated they have a script that will allow us to continue to publish using the .mv and their script will make the Miva cart function if we do not use FP2000, however they indicate that if we publish using FP2000, that FP2000 may want to alter all the links and therefore corrupt all the functionality. Any ideas, can anyone offer any assistance? Thanks, Steve

FP has a search and replace function.
If you use it right, it will search the HTML code and change that.
