Frontpage 2000 / CSS / Hosted on Windows 2003

Hi -

One of our new sites that we are working is being put together using
frontpage 2000. The majority of formatting on the site is using CSS.

Earlier this afternoon, it seems like all of our external style sheets
are no longer being referenced. However, the strange thing is that the
paths of the sheets are still in the files using this as the tag:

<LINK REL=StyleSheet HREF="../styles/style.css" TYPE="text/css">

This tag is in the head of the documents.

In the normal view of Frontpage, the page is rendered correctly, but in
preview or viewing the page using IE, the page is rendered without any
of the tags.

Has anyone seen this strange behavior before? Do you know of any
workarounds?

Thanks,

Jamie

Is this site published anywhere that we could take a look?

Hi Kathleen,

Thanks for the quick response. After pounding my head and pruning the
code for about 4 hours, I discovered that one of the css tags was
duplicated. The same name was given twice. After making that change,
the issues cleared up. I am a little surprised that the duplication of
the tag would render the entire sheet null upon rendering, but that is
the way that it worked.

Thanks,

Jamie
