Frontpage 2000- shared borders

Help! try to be as short as possible....website in question is
www.ilglo.com... OK, I was using the CSS Menu by OpenCube, upgraded from the
original version and decided to put the menu in my top border. I had it
working, but wrote over my borders page in error, can't get it to work on the
web, only on my pc. I know on my pc that when Shared Borders is used, a new
folder called "borders" is automatically created, but any changes I make in
that top.htm page are not reflected in the web pages and vice-versa.
What I discovered is another folder called "_borders" is created, changes to
the top.html file in that folder are reflected on the web pages and
vice-versa, but not in the top.html page in the "borders" folder. I'm
confused! I've searched everwhere for an explanation, can anyone explain, or
point me in the right direction?
Also, the "_borders" folder is not published to my web host server, only the
"borders" folder, but I think my menu code is looking for it, because the
menu works on my pc, but not on the web.

Shared borders do not create or use a folder named "borders"
They only use the _hidden folder named "_borders"
The _borders folded is being published
- but to see it in the site in FP you need to set Tools Site Settings advanced - show hidden folders
See http://www.ilglo.com/_borders/top.htm

Just remember that only the content inside of the BODY tags is embedded from a shared border, so all your scripts need to be inside
of the Body tags on the shared border page or on all pages that use the script

IMHO
The open cube popup ad "trashes" your site
- I would leave w/o viewing anything on any site that tries to "sell" me something of no relation to the site, especially w/ a popup
