FYI. I purchased FrontPage 2003 yesterday and downloaded the lastest
updates, using a Verizon Wireless PCMCIA card.
When I tried to connect to a web server, it wouldn't connect. I went
through a Detect and Repair procedure, but still no luck. Finally, I shut it
down and went home. When I booted up again at home (where I have a standard
wireless network), I found that the web server connectivity worked fine, and
very quickly.
If you are attempting to use the software to publish web sites using a
cellular modem and are experiencing difficulties, use a standard Ethernet
connection (wired or wireless) instead. I don't know why that would be the
case, since I can connect to everything else using my cellular modem, but it
definitely does make a difference!
