FrontPage 2003 crashes with Pasting

P

Paul Proefrock

I have been experiencing problems with FP2003 crashing when I paste objects
or text. I have searched the newsgroup and find one other listing on this
same thing but no resolution.

An example:
Hi-lite text in cell A of a table and Ctrl-C. Move to Cell B which is blank
and Ctrl-v. I then get an error message:
"Microsoft Office FrontPage has encountered a probloem and needs to close.."

There must be something to the crash since I elect to report the problem and
I can see that info is being gathered and transmitted, not just the normal
window that closes.

I've cleaned all temp files and cache's. I've closed and rebooted, still
keeps on. It seems to be tied to the cut/copy/paste functions.

Any ideas or suggestions

Thanks

John,
Not sure how much code you want. This is the code of a table that I inserted
the top row, typed in "2003 AMYA EC12 Championship click on title to read
report" Before the hyperlink was set, I cut and pasted the text into the
next column.

As soon as I pasted the data into the column, BAM, crash.

The problem really seems to be the way FrontPage handles Ctrl-C and Ctrl-V.

Any insite sure would be helpful

Thanks Paul,

Actually, if you could send the whole table and just the table BEFORE you do
any cut/paste operations, and tell me exactly what you cut and pasted, that
should be great.

Note: In grad school I designed an interactive educational piece of software
based on the poem which very nearly matches your last name :)
