Frontpage 2003, having trouble with linkshare banners

Some banners work okay, but most do not. The banners appear in Design and
Preview modes, but after publishing, they do not appear on the web site. When
I view source, the <IMG part is missing.

I copy the script from Linkshare and I insert the script in code mode. Then I
look at it in design mode and preview mode. Perhaps McAffee is stripping
something off?

Paste it into notepad first, and then copy and paste it from notepad to the code view page.

I tried your notepad suggestion and it didn't help. I just discovered that
turning off Mcafee Privacy and firewall and then publishing made it work. Now
when I "view source" on the web site, I see all my image data. I don't know
if it was the privacy or the firewall, but I suspect it was the privacy.
Maybe I need to look at the McAfee settings and see it I was shooting myself
in the foot. Thanks for taking time to help!
