FrontPage 2003 not responding

My operating system is MS Windows XP Home updated to today. My anti
virus, Windows Defender and SpyBot S&D are up to date and not reporting
any problems. Recently on opening my installation of FP2003 any action
has resulted in the application not responding. Task Manager shows two
instances of FP running and is unable to end the tasks. To do so I have
to turn off the computer manually. I am a habitual user of FP Cleaner.

Prior to this behaviour and for several years there has often been a
delay of up to 45 seconds for a right click context menu to open and
this also occurs in my installation of Expression Web 2.0. For FP this
was investigated through MS Connect but a solution was never proposed.

I have done a detect and repair and uninstalled and installed FP twice
into its default folder. I have also uninstalled and installed into a
non default folder. Following the d&r and from information resulting
from an Internet search I have:

1. In Windows Explorer, deleted Temporary Files in the folders:
C:\WINDOWS\Temp and C:\Documents and Settings\username\Local
Settings\Temp. Also the Temporary Internet Files
2. In Windows Explorer, deleted all *.web files
3. In Windows Explorer, deleted four instances of the file CMDUI.PRF.
4. Uninstalled FrontPage addins.

Despite the steps I have taken the behaviour of FP 2003 is unchanged and
nevertheless all other applications on my system appear to be
functioning as expected.

In the knowledge and experience of others in this newsgroup is there
anything I can do to eradicate this problem? I would appreciate any
help or guidance to assist me.
