frontpage 2003 reinstallation problem

I'm trying to reinstall FrontPage 2003 on my Win XP SP2 computer, following
a destructive virus attack. The FP installation disk works fine, and I go
thorugh all of the expected steps, ending with a "successful installation"
type message. However, I find that I only have a series of nested, empty
file folsers starting from Front Page/version 3.0/bin on my hard drive. There
is no error message along the way, and no desktop icon that was produced
during the previous installation. Any ides on how to solve this problem ?
Also, to be optomistic, can I install the program on my external hard drive
(F ?

Look in your Start All Programs for a Link to FP
- by default FP 2003 installs in
%ProgramFiles%\Microsoft Office\OFFICE11

FrontPage 2003 installs in the folder C:/Program Files/Microsoft
Office/Office11
Along with all the other Office 2003 applications.
The folder you refer to is part of the Windows operating system, and
should be ignored.

You could install on the external hard drive, but a lot of essential
files are placed in C:/Program Files/Common Files, and in
C:/Windows...., regardless of where you want to install, so it is not
really worth the effort.
