FrontPage 2003 the latest?

Lochi

Dumb question I suppose.
I did my site years ago in FP 98, but now need to upgrade, so I’ll be
spending many evenings over the next few months struggling with that lot
again. It will probably grow from about 10 to about 40 Mb.
I do not want to be told once again that I had been using old stuff. What
is the latest version of FP and when will the next one replace it and what
buttons do I press on my pc to establish what version I have on my pc? Huh?
It says 2002 somewhere.
Can I upgrade without buying Microsoft Inc?
Thanx,
Lochi.

Lochi,
If you open FrontPage and click on Help | About Microsoft FrontPage, you
will see the version number

In my case it says Microsoft® FrontPage® 2002 (10.6308.6735) SP3

The experts here say:
1. FP2003 is the latest
2. The next version will be sometime next year (2006)

Whether you will have to pay several billion to upgrade is another question
:)))

This is a personal opinion, but I think that once you have learnt a bit
about HTML, CSS, Javascript, etc, you won't need FrontPage so much.

Thanx Trevor, that helps.
Apologies for posting twice Tom, it is because I did not realise I got it
right first time. Curious to read those first answers though.

How does one go about upgrading from 2002 to 2003? Just download from MS
site and pay by credit card?
Thanx,
Lochi.
