Frontpage 2003

I just purchased Frontpage 2003 and upgraded from Frontpage 2002. Are any of
the new features on the do not use list? I have been playing around with the
layering and it has great potential but I'm worried about the "Only works in
IE" syndrome.

Overall, it is much better at cross browser than earlier versions. I would
watch out for features that require SharePoint, but they should be grayed
out when you are not connected to a SharePoint site. If you set
compatibility, FP 2k3 is very good at not allowing you to use dangerous
features. 2k2 was not bad, but 2k3 is much better.

Layers tend to work well in all current version browsers IIRC. What you
want to watch out for is the use of certain behaviors. Some of them are
quirky in non-IE browsers.

I tested every behavior in many different browsers and charted how well each
one supports each behavior in my book. You might want to check that out.
