You can implement the original data entry quite easily
through the FrontPage "Form Properties" dialog box.
You can also do simple reporting by using the Database
Results Wizard. (Choose Insert, Database, Results).
Two problems I see are security and follow-up.
On the security side, once you've captured this
information, who can view it and what are are the
consequences if someone else views it? In general,
medical information is very private, and requires some
very high power security measures. (Imagine a hospital
putting patient information on the Web so that doctors
and perhaps family can check it remotely. How much
security would *that* warrant?)
Also regarding security, FrontPage doesn't have a built-
in self-registration system (meaning the sort of thing
where new visitors fill out a form, receive an e-mail
message, and then click a link in that message to
register. You have to program that sort of feature
yourself, so that it integrates with the rest of your
application.
The follow-up part relates to ongoing corrections and
deletions. If you want registrants to come back later and
update any information they previously posted, but not
update anyone else's information, again that's something
you'd have to custom program.

I am in the process of building an ALS Patient Registry,
and looking to get feedback from the experienced before
begin. First off I want to connect to Access2003 using
FrontPage2003 as a front end data entry point.
