Frontpage and database

We are school district, We would like to develop websites for our teachers to
share curriculum resources. Teachers can add website or upload documents to
the site, and can also search existing resources.
1.Can frontpage do all these?

I'm an MS Access developer, and pretty confortable developing database
applications, but I only used Frontpage 98 several years ago, not sure
Frontpage 2003 can do these or not?
2. Also, What are the books or resouces I can find about Frontpage and
database, or Frontpage and ASP. Thanks

3. does frontpage work with Sql server 2000 too, or only Access db?

Yes it can (with custom hand coded server side script)
- and depending on your host it also supports Access & SQL
