Frontpage and server without fp server extensions

I want to use Frontpage as the web editing tool, but I
have a Apache web server without the fp server
extensions. When I try to open one of the Apache hosted
web sites Frontpage tells me that the server extensions
are not installed on this server. I can connect to the
web site by using webdav.

FP requires that the FP server extensions be installed to open a site in FP on a remote server.

but you can still use Frontpage as your editor, and upload files manually with
CuteFTP or such like.
