Frontpage banners not displaying on web

I added page banners to my site. The banners display on my local site, but
do not display on my remote site. Why are my banners absent from the website?

It's the FrontPage Server Extensions on your remote site.
Open your remote site in FrontPage, then add your banner.
Copy the updated page back to your local site.
