Frontpage command line options for custom shortcut.

Does anyone know if there any command line options for frontpg.exe?

I want to create a shortcut that opens http://www.myweb.com from a shortcut.

For example: <installdir>/frontpg.exe http://www.myweb.com

I've tried the above, but it doesn't seem to work.

Thanks for the help in advance.

Sure, you can do that! (You should subscribe to my tips newsletter. I
wrote a tip on this several weeks ago.)

You need to make sure that you enclose the executable in quotes. For
example:

"c:\program files\microsoft office\frontpg.exe" http://www.myweb.com

When you run that, it will open FrontPage, open your Web site, and then open
the default document. I have several shortcuts for several Web sites that I
manage and I created a Taskbar menu so that I can just click on the word
"Sites" on my taskbar and quickly open any Web site that I work on.

Seems to work, but it want to create an Index.html file even if there isn't
one.
Thanks for the tip.

Yeah, FrontPage tries to open the first default document in the server list.
If it's not there, you get a pop-up error. No way around that that I know
of.
