FrontPage continue with or find something else

I use FrontPage 2000 to make this web site
http://www.ekbom.org.uk
I have updated FrontPage a few times but not bought FrontPage 2003.

Now it is time to update the site and I am wondering where to go.

I do not want to spent ages learning how any new programme works - as
it is a voluntary job for me, I'd say that around 4 hours getting to
know a new product is quite enough.

The site is quite old fashioned and that is because Ekbom Syndrome tends
to effect older people and I want them to be comfortable with the site.
(No cookies, assume they will not vary the size of text, next to no
forms, just information.
(See
http://www,ekbom.org.uk/improve_ this_ site.htm
for more background
but that is only if you wish to get more involved)

But the site really does need an upgrade to look a bit more up to date
and I am wondering if I can use Expression Web, which is one MS offering
to replace Front page with, to alter Front Page creations or even if
Expression Web is beyond me - the MS web site says

"Use Expression Web if you are a professional Web designer. It is a
professional design tool to create sophisticated standards-based Web
sites that deliver compelling user experiences. Expression Web is
targeted at designers who are building broad reach HTML Web sites"

Well I am not a professional web designer nor do I use or know one jot
about Share Point technologies so what can I do?

Should I look at Dream Weaver or something else?

What are you if you are in a similar position going to do - or are doing
please.

You can download a free trial of Expression Web to figure out the answer for
yourself:

Thank you Kevin.

One of the most annoying things (of 30) about usenet is the person who
makes no effort to help him or herself.

I was a bit surprised when I went to the MS site for expression web at
Kevin's suggestion to find that I was not directed to an upgrade offer
(for FrontPage) and I bought and have had delivered the upgrade version
which I discovered on the web at a few places - without understanding
the upgrade fully.

Since been back to the MS site and found the upgrade offer included in a
FAQ somewhat hidden from me.

An earlier question is answered in a little booklet which comes with the
CD called Quick Start Guide - this looks a little promotional but is
nevertheless excellent as it suggests opening a web of your own to
discover the facilities of Expression Web.

Left with a question before going any further: Does the Upgrade CD
noble FrontPage - can I just go back to FrontPage without reinstalling
it? Can I have FrontPage and Expression on the same computer?

I know I could find this out with a little work but I am in a caring
mode at the moment and am full time available for a very ill person - so
please excuse what you perceive as laziness or even a deficiency in
comprehension.

The Upgrade version of EW is more of a competitive upgrade than a code
upgrade. You can have both FrontPage and EW on the same computer
without problems. You can use both to edit the same websites without
problems (though best not to use both at once).

It is not an actual *upgrade* for the FP program itself. Upgrade is used
here as a marketing term for price qualification.

Expression Web is a completely separate program. It will not do anything to
your existing FP installation.

Thank you Ron and Tom very useful info and it has turned out as you
predicted it would - looks as if it is going to be very helpful.
