FrontPage Discussion Forums

Hello,

I''ve created a discussion forum in FrontPage and it won't work. When you
go to the site, it looks fine. You can post a comment and it will show on
the .toc page with the title and everything, but when you try to open the
post to read it, you get the error message "Page cannot be displayed". I've
checked the forum and compared it to others and I can't find anything.

can you give a URL to the failing discussion web?

Actually, it's a "page cannot be found" error. But, when you go into the
folder list in FrontPage and open the associated folder, they are all there,
titled 00000002.htm, etc. Some have a letter instead of a number, like
0000000a.htm, I've looked in other forums that I've created and that doesn't
seem to be a problem.

If I can't fix it, can I recreate the forum and somehow display the messages
that have already been posted?

it's a tenuous situation to try to recreate the discussion web _and_ keep
the data.

Try Thomas' suggestion and see if you have any luck with that.
