Frontpage Discussion Group problems

I'm having problems using Frontpage's discussion group
feature. The majority of the problems has to do with
formatting text and publishing.

I use the discussion group as a means of presenting
updated articles on my website.

I wanted to set it up so that articles could be pasted
onto the submissions field. That part works fine, but they
lose the formating. I'm not concerned with it being left
justified, but all of the breaks between paragraphs
disappear. In essence, five or six paragraphs become one
big block of text.

When I open the files to format them in the _disc folder,
I can reformat the text without any problem, but I've
discovered that if I republish the site, all info is lost
when I view it in my browser.

If I just format the files in the _disc folder and save
them without publishing, will teh page viewed in the
browser retain the articles, or will the content area be
blank?

Also, is there a way to pre-format the text so that I can
keep the line breaks? Or do I have to manually enter it
through my keyboard?

I have a similar problem with a discussion. Do your paragraphs say
separated if you put an empty line between them? What is your URL?
