Frontpage error 1608

I saw there was another topic on this but i didnt understnad it.

I have frontpage 2003, and had installed it from office and it was working
fine. It let me use office then.

I have now bought a new laptop, but when trying to install frontpage i get
to here and it says "The product key you entered requires a version of
Microsoft Office 97, 2000 or XP to upgrade....", i have the 2003 disk, aswell
as it being already on the system so i have tried both, but neither works.

I read on the other question you said you can use 2003. However it worked
before so why would it not work now.?

any help would be nice

It sounds like you are installing an upgrade version of Office. This
will require a previous version to qualify for the upgrade.

An upgrade version of FrontPage will require a previous version of
FrontPage, or a previous version of Office that has FrontPage as part of
it, as a qualifying product.

Emphasis in both cases is on "Previous Version".

FrontPage 2003 has never been a part of any office suite, so I am
confused by " I have frontpage 2003, and had installed it from office "

What i meant is that i have it on my old laptop, and i installed it from
office, but i cant do it this time.
