'Frontpage Error' when submitting contact form

I have made a website where suddenly (i think) the contact forms wont send
from the site, keep getting the following error message on submission:
FrontPage Error.
User: please report details to this site's webmaster.


Webmaster: please see the server's system log for more details.

I got my customer to email her hosting company regarding frontpage
extensions, they say there is no error on their part - the frontpage extns
are installed..
what can I do??

It's a must with forms.

its on www.ambhomes.com
i have many websites i run the same forms on, but this one / site wont
work..?

Checking for the extensions configuration page shows that it's there:
www.ambhomes.com/_vti_inf.html

Checking the server shows that extensions are not installed however.
This is returned:
HTTP/1.1 200 OK
Date: Sat, 05 Jan 2008 18:57:15 GMT
Server: Apache/1.3.39 (Unix)

and it should be this:
HTTP/1.1 200 OK
Date: Sat, 05 Jan 2008 18:58:15 GMT
Server: Apache/1.3.39 (Unix) FrontPage/5.0.2.2635
