Frontpage Express cannot edit large HTML files

Hi all,

I have problem using Frontpage Express 2.0. (v2.0.2.1118)
I have a large HTML file which I need to edit thru' the HTML View, but
it doesn't allow me to extend the file any longer.

I could delete certain words/letters but it only allows me to re-type
up to how many characters that I have removed earlier. Is there any max
number of characters that HTML view in FP Express can support ?

By the way, I have no problem editing it from the GUI view though.

FYI, my HTML file (without the FP code) is 13,614 characters. If I copy
the entire HTML source from HTML View, it goes up to 74,215 characters.
Please help. Thanks alot.

FP Express was a freebie released back in1998, and had since been
discontinued. It was never intended for large files or sites. You are
having problems because you are using it for something it was never intended
to do.

I should add a few lines about keeping current with the times, but I still
use MS Photodraw II so I'll just skip this paragraph.

Find another freebie or better still bite the bullet and get the current
version of FP. Compared to what you are using you will think you've died
and gone to heaven.
