Frontpage extensions not recognized

I've created a support website where users can post an issue. I can publish
my site to my local webserver which has frontpage extensions enabled.
However when I open the site and click on the post button it tells me that it
cannot open the page because it has to be on a server with frontpage
extensions which it already has.

Since I'm publishing the site to a local machine acting as a web server,
Frontpage will not allow me to use the "http://" frontend.

If IIS and the extensions are installed, then you should be able to publish to
http://localhost/webname

If you feel your current issue is a results of installing
a Service Pack or security update, please contact
Microsoft Product Support Services:
http://support.microsoft.com
If the problem can be shown to have been caused by a
security update, then there is usually no charge for the call.
