I recently had to reinstall FrontPage 2000 and PWS. I'm still on
Windows 98.
When I try to create a subweb, I get a message saying:
"The version of the FrontPage Server Extensions installed on this web
server does not support creating more than one level of subwebs.
To upgrade to the latest version of the FrontPage Server Extensions,
contact your Internet service provider or system administrator."
I'm trying to create a subweb from a regular web inside what PWS
considers my root web (i.e. localhost). I have several domains I take
care of and each one is its own web inside the root; hence the "more
than one level".
Since this is a single computer and I'm using PWS, there is no ISP
involved.
I have no idea how to find out what version of the FrontPage
Extensions I have on the machine.
Does anyone know what version I need and where to get them to allow me
to create subwebs more than one level deep and where I can get them?
Thanks.
