Stewart Leahy

Hi - I've only recently started using CSS. On a form I've created a
confirmation page but when the submit button is clicked, the confirmation
page appears without its CSS being applied (although it show fine when you
directly view the page rather than it being automatically openend. Any help
of suggestions would be appreciated. URL's as follows (you're welcome to send
junk tests):

Reply Page: http://www.weblogocreation.co.uk/order_forms_newlogo_reply.htm

Clear your browser temporary internet and history files.

Then see if it works.
If not go here: http://www.95isalive.com/fixes/fpclean.htm and download a
copy of FP cleaner.
Run the Functions that:
Clear the FrontPage Temporary files.
Clear the Cache(*.web) files.

Hi Steve - Nope, I've done this and it's not made a difference - I've also
had the same problem on three different PC's so it looks more like the site
itself rather than my PC????

Interesting, because it works fine in my browser???
I just sent you a test to check it out.

btw, you might want to mark the required fields with an asterisk *

* marks a required field.

Hi Steve - Thanks for looking but I'm certain it's not working....just tested
on another PC and you need to compare the fonts on the form before your click
submit (for the font and heading text formatting) to that of the subsequent
confirmation page.....you'll see that the confirmation page doesn't have the
CSS's applied to it, however if you directly access the confirmation page it
works fine.

Secondly, thanks for your comments on the * Required Field - I've updated
the page accordingly.

Does not work for me in IE or FireFox. It is possible that the
confirmation page is trying to load the CSS from the _vti_bin folder.
To overcome this, change the link to the style sheet to a root
relative link, such as
<link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="/style.css">
FrontPage will leave this type of link alone, whereas an absolute link
may be changed to relative, however it will appear as an external link
in reports.

Hi Ron

You are the MAIN MAN - brilliant - it works a treat. Thank you.

As long as you put in the '/' on the confirmation page CSS href only it
works perfectly.

Thank you again.
