I have several questions about Frontpage forms.
First, when a user clicks the submit button and one of the form fields do
not satisfy the validation requirments, an error message appears that
requests the user to enter the required information. For example, "Please
enter at least 10 characters in the 'FROM_ACCOUNT' field." When the user
clicks the OK button. The form completely clears out and the user has to fill
out the form all over again. Is there a way to prevent the form from
completely clearing and allowing the user to retype only that field again?
Secondly, I have to have my form results sent to an email address. Most of
the forms have predetermined recipients but I have a few forms where I will
need the user to type in the email address the form results need to go to. Is
there a way to do this in Frontpage?
Finally, since the form results are sent to an email address, the form
results look very bad from a data processing point of view. The information
is clutterred, the comments fields are automatically placed at the bottom
despite the original order I placed it on the form, and the checkbox fields
display whether are not they were checked which clutters the results even
more. Is there anyway I can have the form results look more like the original
form so it can be data processor friendly or is there anyway I can pretty it
up?
Any feedback is very much appreciated.
