Hi there,
Up until I tried installing an Office Update from the
Microsoft site, my Excel worked fine. I must've done
something wrong, because since then, I can't open any of
my Excel Documents.
When I double click on a file a small box pops up
(Windows Installer'). It says: Please wait while Windoes
configures Microsoft Office XP Professional with
FrontPage.
The next box which appears is headed: Microsoft Office XP
Professional With Frontpage
The message is:
The feature you are trying to use is on a network
resource that is unavailable.
Click OK to try again, or enter an alternative path to a
folder containing the installation package 'PROPLUS.MSI'
in the box below.
The problem is, I am working from home and don't
currently have access to the network.
I cancel this box and am back to square one again. I
can't open Excel files at all. The same message
continues to appear.
I've tested the excel files by emailing it to another
home computer and they work fine... so it's the computer,
not the excel file!
Any help to rectify would be much appreciated.
Thanks.
Susan
