FrontPage Log On Prompt Does Not Take User Name and Password on First
Attempt

I've just installed a discussion board on my website (installed as a sub-web
so I can control user access to browse only). When I (or other authorized
users) attempt to log on, we are forced to go through the log in process
twice. Following the submission of my User and Password, the prompt
reappears again (blank) and you have to re-enter your User and Password info
to resubmit again. After the second submission, the protected page will
appear.

I've had others test this at various locations, and the same problem occurs.

My web is www.avicennalaser.com

The discussion board is located at www.avicennalaser.com/myweb

The user name for the sub web is: cat, the password is: laserdog. Feel
free to check out what I'm talking about.

MY BACKGROUND INFO

Microsoft FrontPage 2000 Ver. 4.0.2.2717

My server uses FP extensions and has verified that they are installed and
working properly. My complaint is not reproducible at their location.

My web is hosted by www.sunvirtual.com- FP extensions installed

XP Home is my Operating System

Norton Internet Security (updated subscription)

Apache/1.3.33 Server at avicennalaser.com Port 80

I would appreciate any suggestions that the group may have regarding these
nuisance issue.

Thank you!
