My company bought FrontPage in 2003. There were two of us so we installed it
on Gordon's computer. We set up the web site and then Gordon left and took
his computer with him, I kept the disc and have the product key. Now I need
to change the website and so I have installed FrontPage on my computer,
completing the registration details with my name and address etc. I go to my
website and click on 'File/Edit with Microsoft FrontPage'. The website gets
a dotted line all round it, which looks familiar as an edit screen, but then
I get a message to say there is a problem and it has to shut FrontPage down.
Now is this a registration/activation problem? How do I correct this with
Microsoft? Or is this not the way to edit a website?
Many thanks for any help given.
