I am creating a dummy site for college but have run into a few problems,

Firstly i am trying to publish the site with frontpage 2003, I am hosting it
with a site called freehostia.com basically it offers me free webhosting as
like i said its for a college project.

But it hosts about 99% and stops and gives me this message:

The server could not complete your request make sure you have frontpage
extensions installed (WHICH I DO!!!) etc etc i click details and it says

500 Internal Server Error
Internal Server Error The server encountered an internal error or
misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request. Please contact the
server administrator, (e-mail address removed) and inform them of the time the
error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the
error. More information about this error may be available in the server error
log. Apache/1.3.33 Server at bunce2.freehostia.com Port 80

Also i MAY HAVE POSSIBLY got it to fully host once and when i go to the site
its all funny and the links dont work > http://bunce2.freehostia.com < is
this because it didnt publish fully/properly or somthing else wrong to do
with the creation/editing of the site ?

Many thanks!

Somehow this ended up in the Excel GQ forum, probably better off over in
http://www.microsoft.com/office/com...crosoft.public.frontpage.client&lang=en&cr=US

But I think perhaps there's a lot to be said for the information given to
you in the error message:
It admits it is an internal server error - i.e., not YOUR fault (so far)
Recommends that you contact their support team and provides an email address
for that purpose - seems like a good place to start to me.

Gives you information to emphasize in your question in the FrontPage forum:
that the server is running Apache/1.3.33 Server software. While that
shouldn't be a problem with proper FP extensions installed correctly, it may
play into things in some fashion, and making that clear may help get a good
answer faster than if people are thinking it's all set up on a version of
Windows Server.
