Hi Guys
I have designed my very first website in FP 2003 for my company which is a
govt organisation. Now I have used dwt to create the site and for some
reason, when I add the doctype in my code, the site loses its formatting.
My boss showed this website to some other professional and his comment was
not to use DWTs at all and also stop using the layout tables,Guys I have got
very little knowlwedge of style sheets and especially how to put it inside a
DWT page.

He thinks my site is a total mess with an awful lot of coding.

I need your views guys.pls help as I have started losing confidence in myself.

Actually, I thought that you should not be using DWT, but my feeling was:
"If it works for you, use it". I have never used DWT or layout tables, and
have got by OK. I feel sure that your site could be designed without them.
In fact, I was thinking of doing so, but it would only be the home page

Would you like me to look at redoing the home page without DWT or layout
tables ?

Hi Trevor
Thanks for being a help
The only reason I used dwt was that I could update all my pages in a single
hit. But now I am looking to redesign it using style sheet.
I would me more than happy for yuo to redisign the home page without dwts.

Thanks again

Wel, I have had a go.

It looks OK to me, but there may be some aligns etc. which need fixing.

The code is on: http://tandcl.homemail.com.au/sissal.html
