Frontpage web page size

I developed a web page in FrontPage 2002, on my laptop, which has a 17"
wide-screen monitor. I used a template to create the pages, but it stretches
to fit my screen. I'm wondering if you have a product that will help me to
globally change the size of my web to 800 x 600 so that it fits on one screen
(from left to right), on a regular monitor, without completely redoing the
web? Monitor size/shape may have nothing to do with this. I just can't
seem to fix the problem and am exploring as many possibilities as I can.
Also is there a way to define the page initially so it will not get larger
than 800x600 or only stretch to fit higher resolutions.

No magic bullet
Redesign your pages to be in fixed width (750px) center aligned tables

Unfortunately, there is no such product. Web pages have to be made to fit a
window size, or made to stretch, at the design stage. And you're right,
it's nothing to do with monitor size, it is all down to browser window size.

The usual methods are to use a fixed width table and place all content in
it. Or use a liquid layout (100% wide table) that will stretch as the
window grows or shrinks.

A URL will help to say whether your site will be easy or hard to adjust.

To aid further design, set up FP2002 to use an 800px wide design window.
Open a page in FP and use File->Preview in Browser. Choose a browser size
of 800x600. Do not close this browser, or change its size. Move the
browser window to the right of the screen and note where its left edge
appears.
In FrontPage, adjust the width of the design pane (by grabbing the divider
between folder list and design pane with the mouse) to the width of the
800x600 browser window.
This gives you a 800px wide canvas to design in.
Frequently use preview in browser to check the layout in different window
sizes.
