I have been running office 2000 for many years and had no problems until this
last week, I started having problems when trying to publish my website with
frontpage. Now when I open Frontpage I get the message “Frontpg has caused an
error in <unknown> Fronpg will now close.â€
“If you continue to experience problems try restarting your computer†which
doesn’t work.
I then get “Frontpg has caused an error in MFC42.DLL Frontpg will now closeâ€
I have tried running the repair in office, I have uninstalled and
reinstalled the full office system, all the other office systems are working
fine, I have run Fpcleaner and reinstalled my operating system, all to no
avail, I was going to move to 2003, with the cost it won’t be for some time.
So I’d like to breath some life back into my old Frontpage if anyone has any
ideas, I would be grateful for some advice.
