I am using FP 2003 and have tried to set up a submit form and database and a
results form but they are not working properly.
I created a submit form then right clicked the form to select connect to a
database, FP then created a database using the fields from my form. In
another page I used the database results wizard to create a search query and
form using the results wizard.
I then published my website. I entered details in the submit form and I was
informed the data had been received. I then checked my database but it was
still blank, the record had not been added. Also the results form is showing
the message “The operation failed - If this still continues, please contact
your server administratorâ€.
My website host has told me I need to change my scripting but they cannot
advise me because this is out of their scope. They accept FP extensions, ASP
and have windows 11s etc.
However, I have previously tried to set up a search my website form using a
web component and this didn’t work either and my Host told me I couldn't use
this.
Can anyone help me - I have been at this for 3 days now?
