frontpage2003 giving new errors after upgrade

Karl

Hi,

I have been publishing with frontpage 2003 to my web site on
www.primechoice.com. They have frontpage extensions. My laptop
operating system crashed so I installed frontpage 2003 on my desktop.
I installed all the latest upgrades and then tried to access my web
site. I get the following message.

Server error: The webserver at http://www.primechoice.com does not
appear to have windows sharepoint services installed.

A password is required to access my site and I wasn't even asked for a
login name or password. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what is
wrong?

Sincerely,

Karl

I haven't asked primechoice. to do anything because this happened when
I changed computers and upgraded so I think it is something I did.

Ok, you said crashed and then you said upgraded.
Did you have to reinstall windows when your "system" crashed.
Or did you repair.
After the "crash" and you upgraded, what did you upgrade??
The OS, FrontPage??
If FrontPage, what was the previous version??

My laptop crashed and I had to reinstall windows. I did not reinstall
frontpage on my laptop. Instead I installed it on my desktop. When I
installed Frontpage 2003 a dialog box popped up asking me if I wanted
to download the latest upgrades and I clicked yes. The upgrades were
for Frontpage 2003.

When I installed Frontpage 2003 it asked me for my name and so on and I
left it blank. I wonder if that has something to do with my problems.
