FRONTPG.EXE - Entry Point Not Found

R

Roy Campbell

When I try to run front page 2003 Beta I get an error
"The procedure entry point ?
UDC_LOCATION_STS_URL@CUDCDoc@@2QBGB could not be located
in the dynamic link library fpcutl.dll"

How do I fix the problem? I have tried reinstalling front
page and repairing office.

You will need to install the Technicaql Refresh for front
page to resolve this problem.
Unfortunately this is not well documented and with the
Release version about ready to go out the door, will not
be promoted but you can find it at the following URL

You need to ahve the Technical Release for Office
installed before you install this patch

I have exactly the same problem but when I go to the web
location you suggested, it says it can't be found. Any
suggestions?

The BETA2 Technical Refresh information for MS Office 2003 is at
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/...b2-8354-4dda-b86b-cf9ce8616d98&DisplayLang=en

The MSO B2TR contains all the common shared components required by FP (and the other products) so install it 1st - see above for
details

The other BETA 2 TR are at

FYI - You must have BETA2 installed for any of these download REFRESH patches to work

The BETA expires Nov 30 so these updates will also soon disappear

| I have the same problem. When I go to this web address,

So I already had the Beta 2 Refresh Patch installed
before installing Frontpage 2003 beta. The error message
still appears. Any ideas on what I can do next?

Thx,
Christopher

I wasn't aware of such a patch for Frontpage. Can you
tell me where I can find it. Would you also mind emailing
me directly with the URL: (e-mail address removed)

Thx

Beta Patches/Updates are no longer available, since the full version has
been release in the US as of 10/21/03.
