frontpg.lck Problems

I have a website that's created many years ago in FP97, and has been
periodically updated to stay current ... FP2003 and FP2002 clients are now
used to update it. No problems in years. Today, when trying to login after
supplying my ID and password, I get a message that the "
....\_vti_pvt\frontpg.lck file: no such file or folder " ... and I can't
login. I tried deleting both frontpg.lck and service.lck ... no luck.

Any ideas would very very much be appreciated.
