Very Frustrated
I'm still unable to get my OE6 addresses into Outlook 2003 on a
Windows XP machine. It looks like it should be a no brainer
I've tried three ways as below – none worked.
1. In Outlook
a. Click Import/Export, Mail, Addresses, Rules
b. Click Addresses
c. Click OE6
Result – “0 addresses imported”
2. In OE6
a. Click File | Export | Address Book
b. Select Text file | Export
c. Save File as c:\addresses.csv
d. Export, Save Next
e. Check off desired fields
f. Finish
Result “Error Exporting the Address Book”
3. In OE6
a. Click File | Export | Address Book
b. Select MS Exchange PAB
c. Export
Result: “Windows Address Book is currently unable to perform the
export. Make sure you have a PAB set up in Outlook and that it is set
as your current PAB.”
I'd be happy, if it were the only way, to ere-enter my address book
manually into Outlook Contacts, but even then, a CSV file would let me
get an Excel printout to work from.
What am I doing wrong?
