FTP Service hang - No Entries found on the W3SVC log

Hi ,

FTP Service running on the IIS5 was hang due to unknow reason and its stops logging into W3SVC logs and
no entries found on Application/System/Security logs.

When the IIS service restart , it back to normal.

Now customer want's to know the exact cause of this problem.

Any one has idea for the cause of the problem.

Note : Server was updated to the latest windows updates.

what do you mean by 'hang' ?
can't ftp ?

how often does this happen ? what's the last few entries
of ftp log ?
