FTP Website Files From Host Into Frontpage

Hi,
I had a hard drive crash and also had my backup fail. I want to use FP 2003
to download the website files from the host server into FP so I can update
and backup the files. What is the best way to accomplish this?

Unless the site has the FP extensions, you will have to use a FTP application to download the site
content to a folder on your HD, then open that folder in FP via File Menu | Open Site and browsing
to the folder, then allowing FP to convert it to a web.

If you use any FP navigation components or theme, etc. you will have to redo / reapply them.

The host does have FP extensions installed. What would be the best way?

The open FP, then File Menu | Open Site and enter http://www.yourdomainname.com, then your login
info, then once open, use File Menu | Publish Site and enter c:\mywebsite
