Word 2007
When a Word document is saved on a network drive and one user has it
open, the other users can only view the document in a read-only
format.
Until recently, I could swear that these other users could use
features like Find and Outline View to navigate in the read-only
document. But now I can't do so. Or am I mistaken about what I
thought I used to be able to do? Is there any way to set what can and
cannot be done in such a read-only document? Thanks.
