full screen

I am a new iMac (duo) user. In a PC when you maximize a word document,

you get the full screen. In a Mac, you only get half or less. I tried
adjusting it via the bottom right corner of the document but still no
full screen.

Have you tried using the green 'stoplight' button in the left of the doc
window's title bar? If the widow gets smaller when you click it, click it
again. Docs will typically reopen at whatever window size they were when
last saved.
