Fully functional Outlook 2007 from everywhere ?

Here is my question: I am sure I am doing something wrong so any help would
be really appreciated. I have a .mac email account (IMAP). It is set up and
work flawlessly on my home network . I travel a lot and connect my own laptop
to "guest networks" at client sites, either through their "guest wireless"
or with a cable. When doing so, outlook does not work online and keep giving
me an email server error. I do not want to use my email account only in the
web version. How should I set up my account? Thanks in advance

Did you ask your mail provider what settings they require when you use a
"guest" network?
