Function Sequence Error (#0) when connecting to FoxPro database

Hello group,

I am running Access 2000 on an XP machine and am attempting to connect to
FoxPro files that are a Visual Fox Pro database with a .dbc file, not a Free
Table directory. I downloaded and installed the lates FoxPro ODBC driver
(6.01.8629.01) and have created a system DSN with the default settings for
the Collating Sequence, Null, Deleted, and Fetch Data In Background
settings. When I attempt to import the data into Access using this ODBC, I
get a Microsoft Access ODBC error - Function Sequence Error (#0). When I ok
this error message I see the Import Objects window, but it is empty.

I have searched for an answer to this problem in the newsgroups and on the
Microsoft Knowledge Base, but have not come across an answer. Has anyone
else encountered this problem and have a fix for it?
