I've been working along for the past couple weeks, converting a form that we
previously had setup in Excel to an InfoPath form, pulling data from our
corporate databases via Web Services the guy across the hall is setting up
for me. Everything is working great so far. But I just moved on to page 2 of
the form and discovered that the existing form is using the IRR and NPV Excel
functions. I know, I should have known all that up front, but I was working
from the paper version of the form and didn't actually get the electronic
version until today. Anyway, I cannot find equivalent functions in InfoPath.
How can I do this? I refuse to believe that I can't do it! I haven't tied
the form to a .NET project, yet, since I've been pretty much stretching my
new-learning limit just figuring out the InfoPath part. But I do have that
capability--if I'm provided with enough guidance or samples! (We just moved
to Office 2003. I'm a VBA programmer trying to learn VSTO, XML, .NET, and
InfoPath as quickly as I can, but finding it still a bit difficult to put all
the various pieces together.)
Many thanks!
