Funky pdf output

When I print to a pdf file from Word X on OS 10.3.1, the resulting document
is slightly zoomed out when I print it from Acrobat Reader. This happens
whether I use to the "Save as pdf..." button in the print window, or if I go
to the "Output options" header bar and choose save to file. Has anyone else
encountered this? Suggestions?
