Funny black timer looking icon

When viewing a network folder, the icon's for the various files have a funny
black icon in the bottom left corner. (When in Tiles, Icons, Lists, or
Details View, but not in Thumbnail view)

I'm just wondering what this icon means.

The funny icon is due to the HSC Archiving. It appears when a file is
'archived' and what is left is a link to the actual file.
