Funny font activation

Hi, for some reason MS Word 2004 seems to activate a ton of odd fonts
(through Suitcase).

It activates all of my Minion fonts (MM, ttf, otf, expert, btw that¹s 80
fonts).

It activates my Times SC, phonetic, new roman.

Also it is activating some of my Émigré Typefaces (I know Microsoft NEVER
planned to use these).

Most of these fonts were not packaged with MS Office, and they are not in
any of my office documents.

It is activating 31 typefaces comprised of 241 fonts. Why?

I would check Suitcase's settings. I don't use it any more because I
found it buggy under Panther, but my memory is that you can turn on an
auto-activation setting, which lets apps dictate in some unspecified way
what fonts should be activated, or you can define an
application-specific activation set. You might have one of those. m.

My only option thus far has been to shut of Suitcase's auto activation.
Suitcase will only activate fonts for plug in equipped applications (Adobe
Illustrator & InDesign).

Does Word 2004 auto activate any fonts through Font Book (does font book
auto activate?) If so, does anyone know what fonts?
