Fuzzy Fonts in Outlook 2007

My forced conversion from Outlook 2003 to 2007 is not going particularly
well, but I am trying to maintain an open mind that there will
ultimately be some personal benefit from the pain. One of my biggest
aggravations at the moment is the selection of the new, fuzzy font that
Outlook is using in its menus. I have successfully changed every font
setting I can find to Arial from the new one, but the folder names in
the "All Mail Items" column (Inbox, Sent, etc.) as well as other places
in the interface are still in the new font. How can I change the font
there, as well? I have already tried turning ClearType on and off. It
makes things worse.

What type of monitor are you using? What are the settings? How many DPI?
Are you using High Contrast?

What type of monitor are you using? What are the settings? How many DPI?

I'm using Dell 19" LCD monitors, 1280 by 1024, the same monitors that I
used with Outlook 2003 the day before the conversion. I am not using
high contrast unless it is a new default setting. Other applications on
the same monitors do not have the same fuzziness. When I change fonts in
Outlook to Arial, the problem is much less. The problem is that I am
unable to locate the settings that allow me to change the new system
fonts for Outlook/Office.
