Missing this file (fxfileop.dll) error when opening Word
and Excel. Completely removed Office XP including regedit
and office file. Still have the same error message after
complete new istallation. Has anyone any information if
this is a virus. Both virus programs, Vextra and Solo do
not find a virus!

Missing this file (fxfileop.dll) error when opening Word

It probably belongs to an add-in that you've partly (un)installed. Check
Word's Tools>Templates and Addins list.

Completely removed Office XP including regedit
and office file.

Regedit is a Windows utility. Removing it will just make editing the
registry harder. What is öffice file".

Still have the same error message after
complete new istallation.

Since it's not part of Office, reinstalling is like rebuilding your house
onsite because the neighbour's car is blocking the driveway.
